inspired by the self-sufficient nature and teachings in thai culture, we conceptualised and developed a brand that focused on sustainability. 'kao' is 'rice' in thai, and we took rice as the inspiration for our brand because of the significance of rice in thai culture, as well as the versatility of such a staple, which is what we wanted to bring into our brand.

we worked closely with fashion design students and created a line of garments made of unbleached cotton and ethically sourced buttons, zips and other additions.
